On behalf of the Rhode Island Sea Grant College Program, the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography (URI GSO), the URI Coastal Resources Center, and Salve Regina University/Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy, much thanks for your recent participation in our successful “Staying Afloat: Adapting Waterfront Businesses to Rising Seas and Extreme Storms,” the 2014 Ronald C. Baird Sea Grant Science Symposium. We are pleased to provide you with presentations, materials, and articles that appeared in the media, and encourage you to continue engaging with us in dialogue concerning community- and business-based adaptation to sea level rise and storm impacts such as flooding and erosion. In 2015, we will be reaching out to you again to provide you with a summary document from the symposium, as well as information about new opportunities to participate in adaptation efforts in Rhode Island. Again, thank you for attending — we look forward to working with you in 2015!
