Local officials being enlisted in collaborative effort to save R.I.’s coastal wetlands | The Providence Journal

In Bristol, town officials and agency representatives met with CRMC’s Jim Boyd and CRC/Rhode Island Sea Grant’s Pam Rubinoff to review draft SLAMM (Sea Level Affecting Marshes Model) maps, which show the potential effects of sea level rise in Rhode Island. Those present were asked for their input on the maps, which demonstrate different sea level rise scenarios.
