Tailored Training Helps Businesses, Marinas Prepare for Storms, Sea Level Rise

DSCN2007Coastal businesses, including marinas, are increasingly protecting themselves from flooding and other damages associated with strong storms and sea level rise. With funding from the Prince Charitable Trusts and the van Beuren Charitable Foundation, CRC works with these businesses to provide them with science, policies and practices so they can make informed decisions about building resiliency into their coastal facilities. CRC helps businesses take part in proactive planning exercises, such as business continuity planning, and also provides them with tools, such as a marina resilience screening tool, so they can identify risks and work independently to protect their properties.
